a shadow drawing i drew for my architectural model...the one that the professor said my obsession with columns is crazy and weird :confused:
Tell me what u think....

this is a section cut of my model. I won't tell the technical and the meaning of the columns now...but if you're interested ask me and i will answer...cause i wanted this piece to be a piece of art too, which means open to interpretation rather than a technical drawing that it is...:D

ps. in my model it consists of about 100 columns all together...

It doesn't even look like a drawing so I guess that's a good thing! I don't know much about architectural stuff but it looks good to me :thumbsup:

What did you use to draw it? I'm interested in the technical aspects of it... forgive my non-artsy inquisition. It looks half microchip, half Mondrian.

yeah on the technical stand point then i guess it is a good thing...hehe...thanks...the part that shaded black is where sand suppose to go. the smallest columns are those that pertain the human body based on point system. the columns that are on top are for gate...hehe i don't know how much you can visuallize w/ what i've said but...that's what is it...a elemental house that has to retain sand in the site and displace sand in parts of its elements. :D

really nice consistency to the light here. i like it. 100s of columns? that does sound a bit much, but columns do good things to light dont they.
